Why not keep the spring prices for premium?
I’m not sure how your marketing team works, but wouldn’t it be better to lower prices allowing more accessibility for the general populace of chess.com? I would’t mind forking over $25 dollars for a basic premium due it being yearly and yes I’m aware that y’all got employees to pay. In my opinion I believe the current premiums(before spring sale) are a bit too hefty for what you get, unlimited is nice, but the price is comparably to a guillotine above one’s wallet. I could see justification of price(before spring sale) due to economic uncertainty and how much it takes to run a server with 250M players depending on how much traffic there is via site. Anyway; I don’t expect premium to change, but maybe y’all could at least experiment with it for a month and compare revenue ultimately.
The site had lower prices until September of 2022
Prior to then, prices hadn't changed for at least 14 years. The costs to keep the site running, and growing, were the reasons behind the changes. If staff believed lower standard prices would support the site long-term, they would likely do that.
Can I understand correctly that it is not possible to buy that spring sale membership as gift to somebody?
Can I buy it only to myself?
I an asking it because when I watched https://www.chess.com/membership/gift prices were as big as they normally have been

Gifts don't qualify for promotions. They're also only in US prices as far as I'm aware
