I dont think the initial poster is striving very hard. If I wanted something that I didn't deserve I would at least attempt to produce gratifying chuckles amongst my listeners so that I could more likely engender a positive outcome. If the OP had been even slightly more creative or persuasive I would have immediately jumped on his bandwagon and demanded that we burn this place to the ground until everyone had all the tshirts, booze, women, and live chess tournaments that they desire.

The idea here is not to attack one's idea and turn it into some political arguements. Somebody comes up and suggest something, yet what's the reaction? You get called a "complainer", "lazy", "someone who does not deserve", "dirt". Drop childish attitude already and leave thread spotlight to those who got suggestions. If you wish to involve yourself into some internet arguements, please, at least choose a relevant topic, get on Youtube and talk about politic like everyone else of your kind.

This being said ; thing is, if you actually bother playing Live Tournaments, you would have figured that the amount of players is very short first due to the wait-time, not everyone is gonna register and wait until tournament begin, but it is also because once they lose, most of them will withdraws leaving a tournament with only about 3 or 5 players at the end.

Not very exciting if you want my opinion and I believe that allowing regulars members to play an unlimited amount of live tournament could slightly increase the population torward this under used game mode.

You dare pretend the OP only wants to request free stuff, you PRESUME IN ADVANCE that he has bad faith. That is very unfair and dishonest. Is your judgement so low that you REALLY believe somebody would buy premiums ONLY for live tournaments? There's much more very exciting features such as database, stats, videos ... etc. You are on a website where you got CHOICE to buy OR NOT buy the service. And that is a choice everyone is FREE to make. And this GIVES YOU THE RIGHT to post on the forum without getting called names because you have chosen to NOT buy premium.

I think that it's quite possible that you are being far too optimistic in your assertion that the OP is aware of the problems you are presenting. If he was, I find it likely that he would have outlined the problems that you did--but he didn't. He wrote a one line sentence asking for more things for no apparent reason. It smacks of typical human laziness. I applaud your desire to see something positive in the OP, but I don't think it's there. Perhaps you should start a thread where you state your case on behalf of the freeloaders.

Although, when you say that some many people drop out of tournaments after they lose, isn't that pointing again to what Ivandh is indicating? Everyone is lazy and demands to be gratified instantly. They want first place without trying too hard, and once they lose a game, they lose their opportunity for recognition and therefore their perceived 'fun', which is why they quit. I don't think letting basic members have more free tournaments will solve that problem. A more logical approach would be to go back to the beginning of time when humans were created rewire them so that they aren't lazy pieces of self serving crap (like me).
