no kidding.  i have been using Chess Titans and i am up around 1500.  can't imagine what would be worse than Chess Titans.

Yeah I've seen those, but I still find tidbits of relevant posts in every other page.

I guess when the thread is hijacked for two pages and the OP gives up, then it is a lost cause. Otherwise, I just scroll past the idle chatter.

How is that detail even possible? Is it because there is a profile page that shows one's online rating and one's USCF/FIDE rating that is NOT entered by the user himself/herself? From what I can see, people can fudge their OTB ratings in their chess.com accounts. Uncool but out of anyone's hands.
