How do I get the data from the clipboard once I save it there.

Its been 2 year and no copy to cliboard feature yet, this is a standard feature on chesscube.com and I think chess.com should also get this! Soon!

How I do the PGN transfer is actually pretty simple considering that I have no DB software should I want to post a game.

If using a Windows based OS, when you select "Get PGN" have the computer open it with Notepad. Then press [CTRL]+[A] to highlight all the text and right click to select "copy" then open the editor and under the PGN tab, right click and select "paste" and the game is ready for annotating and posting.

On Mac OS/X, simply clicking "Get PGN" places a file in the downloads and on the screen as a text file that you can copy and paste as well.

I am certain Linux users can find a similar method as well, but i do not use Linux OS software, yet.

This is not so much a question of using Windows or another OS, it's a question of how your browser is configured to handle the mime-type used in this case (apparently "application/force-download").

That being said, a copy-to-clipboard button would just be very convenient.

Agreed. But then again, sometimes the things that make the most sense or the are the easiest are the hardest to come by here (Hi Kohai ).
