Board and piece settings

Why does my board and piece settings always reset to default settings after a while when I change them manualy in the themes section. I like to have alpha pieces and bases board colour, but the chess.com app always reset my preferences to a default white and green board and pieces style that I personaly don't like. Is this some bug or something?

Β Maybe...Why not try a workaround and use "Board and Pieces" in settings rather than themes to choose.Β  I don't see a "save settings" in Themes, but there is one in Board and Pieces.Β  Worth a try anyway...

There is no such thing as board and pieces in settings. I am referring to app.
