Been corresponding with Support, they can't figure the problem out.

You could possibly ask them to extend your membership until they can figure it out. After all, you are willing to pay.

They suggested I use an alternate form of payment besides a credit card.
However, I just used the same credit card to renew my CHESSGAMES.COM membership with no problems, so I am sure this is a CHESS.COM problem. One would think they would want to fix a user payment problem ASAP, but I've hit a brick wall with their support. The page I mentioned above has an obvious problem: the user can't enter the country. So in my case, they are probably trying to bill an American credit card using "Estonia" as the country.
But anyway, one would expect a company based in Silicon Valley in 2012 would be able to create a webpage that displays an error message...as opposed to a totally white screen.
Enough of my rant.
Still can't get this update page to work. I have tried the following:
- Try different computer
- Try different credit card
- Restart computer in case the Java update is causing problems
- Change my country to USA
After each of these changes, I still get the white screen when I click submit.
I've been trying for almost 2 weeks to enter new credit card data so CHESS.COM can renew my membership. I'm using this page: https://secure.chess.com/checkout/account.html
Every time I enter my data and click submit, I get a blank screen (but looking at the source code, there is some JQuery error code there).
I'm using Google Chrome and have also tried in Firefox.
Any suggestions? I don't use Paypal and Moneybookers, plus I'm living in Estonia so it's going to be difficult to mail a paper check to California.

Garbo999: I've identified the problem and will get a fix out today. Sorry for the delay. I had thought that the bug you experienced was the same as some others that had been fixed about a week ago — but no, you seem to have a brand new bug we've never seen before.
I'll post here and let support know when it's fixed and you can try again. I've added a free month to your subscription so it doesn't run out while I'm fixing it.
