Cheater!

This morning I had over 1200 points and I made the mistake of playing a person supposedly from [Removed by moderator] with the following profile name:

[Name removed - Naming and shaming is not allowed in the forums. Moderator]

He must have done something to hack or rob me of all my points .  He supposedly won on time after 13 moves and left me with 900 points.  Who do I complain to?????  How can I avoid this happening in the future!?

@OP: Your opponent is innocent of the alleged charges. Nobody can "rob" rating points from another. I would guess you lost almost 300 points simply because you have played very few rated "bullet" Live games. This is a completely normal occurrence.

If you should encounter a cheater at some point in the future, then please only report it to the staff via a Support Ticket. Do not report him in the main forums. Naming and shaming to the entire community is against the rules of the site.

Good luck in your future games. As you play more games, your rating will stabilize, and as a result you won't lose (or gain) as many points from a single game. Please enjoy your chess-playing, and try not to worry so much about the actions of others! Smile

This must be some kind of misunderstanding.  Maybe I was playing a "bullet" game.  Anyway, thanks for your replies.  It was just frustrating after playing so many games to have that happen.  I apologize if my opponent had nothing to do with it.

No "if" about it.

Your opponent had nothing to do with it.

You only have four bullet games. You lost three of them. The last to a player rated 1111. Your  provisional rating will fluctuate greatly with a win or loss. Your opponent did nothing except win the game. Win some games and you will see the rating increase.
