Chess.com V3 Resign Button

So yesterday I was playing a game of blitz chess and wanted to offer a draw to my opponent. I accidently misclicked on resign and immediately resigned. Did their used to be a pop up saying are you sure you want to resign? I'm pretty sure there always has been which is why I was surprised when this happened.

Anyway you can add an are you sure you want to resign interface after clicking the flag on live chess. It's a small problem but one that would be a good improvement. I can't image correspondance chess have a flag which you click on which insta resigns you, there has to be a pop up surely.

Yeah, it did prompt you if you really wanted to resign.  A lot of people had complained about it. Now it is gone. Not sure if the complaints were the cause for the change or what.

Ideally, there would be a Live chess setting to allow you to toggle confirmation on if you wanted it.

That's the dream right there ^

I don't remember the "are you sure" button in blitz chess for resignation; I think that was only in turn-based.  I think they messed up a lot of things--for past users but especially for newcomers--when they removed the words from their buttons (e.g. resign, analyze, offer/accept/claim draw).

I know for a fact there was a confirmation on resign for live on v3 for a short period of time at least. I can give some links where others asked about it even.

^ I'm pretty sure there was for a while too since I recall resigning a game at the early release of v3 and getting a pop up which is why I was surprised that I was insta res'd this time.

I have a nice suggestion for the problema with the resign/draw button:

Here is my suggestion. Now it is easy to see the difference between RESIGN and DRAW buttons:

I thought the flag was like a flag of truce - i.e. a draw offer. Got a nasty surprise...

Truce? It does not exists in chess. It is like "Waterloo" lyrics from ABBA:

"Waterloo"

My, my, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo

My, my, I tried to hold you back but you were stronger
Oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
And how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose
