I don't get any banner announcements when I use V3. Maybe only Diamond Members can see it.

Also, the "New Topic" button is only halfway down the page on a regular browser. I think it is FAR TOO VISIBLE and should be hidden or at least only become visible after people run a forum search to see if 50 other people have asked the exact same question.

Having that stupid banner on every single page, not just the home page is absolutely annoying and completely tasteless.
Is it really not enough that we pay our memberships....why get hit with ads on top of that?
I just hope that the new chess.com won't be like that at all.
Hopefully this is just some beta stuff they will later quit.

YES!!!!!
That's it.
The problem is that if you go on chess.com later in the day it's back on there.
As it is right now it's not intrusive but on the new site that banner is all over the place and blocks the buttons at the top.
PLUS if chess.com has several things goin on at the same time it's one on top of the other and you'll have to constantly be exiting out of them if you go and come back

PLUS on the new chess.com the "Insert Screen Shot" doesn't work.
I just had to switch to the old chess.com to insert the screen shot.
Anyway here is what I'm talking about.

This never happens on the old chess.com.
I just got one.
Just popped up and it simply does not go away unless I hit the exit.
Very annoying. 
Now I just got this, which is OK BUT it doesn't go away unless I click the X.
This kind of thing was NEVER there on the old chess.com.
Things seem much simpler there. Not this endless clicking all over the place.
More just pure chess.
Chess.com is doing these endless reminders......'hey you're on our website, just in case you forgot'.

You should report all of these things using the "report bug" feature in v3. They will get noticed much more quickly.
I've searched in the new chess. com website to turn off the silly announcement
banner that pops up at the top of EVERY PAGE that you're on.
At least with the old chess .com it was only on the home page.
And it was easy to ignore it. It just said "click here".

None of the other chess sites have this.........for a reason.
I think chess. com should leave diamond members alone as much as they can.
Once we pay you we just want to be left alone....at least many of us do.
Hey, chess. com could you put an option in Settings to turn this banner off.
You can leave it on my default and "trick" as many as possible but it's just so annoying
to always have to exit out of this several times a day.
It's large intrusive and blocks all of the top menus.
Diamond members are happy to pay you for all the good work you do but many of us
are here just to play chess not to get hit by chess. com self-promotions.
Also how about putting the "New Topic" button closer to the top of each forum?
Not at the bottom. It's as if you're trying to discourage people to post.
