On the chesskid.com Tournaments Help Center, it says that "Any kid on ChessKid.com can join a tournament". However, it seems that virtually all tournaments are only open to members of particular groups. I would hazard a guess that only 'official' tournaments are open to all; it has to be a guess because there aren't any upcoming official tournaments on chesskid.com at the moment.
Please can we have some tournaments that are genuinely open to all kids, without them having to join a group?
