completely disabling meebo?

I'm so pleased to read this, the site was just not working for a while as a result of meebo.
Chess.com still loads an unusual amount of 3rd party trackers and scripts though - it's putting me off upgrading to be honest, because most of the requests that slow the site down aren't even ads from the look of it.
is there any way to completely disable meebo? its really annoying when i highlight text and the meebo thing pops up and i accidentally click it and it screws the screen up. not to mention the chat and menu bar on the bottom.
It would be nice to have the option of turning it off entirely.
