Conditional Moves on the App

I' been playing on the app for over 3 years and am honestly pretty surprised you still can't do conditional moves on the app. The chess.com app is very feature rich an user friendly and I humbly ask you to improve it further by adding conditional moves.

Oh and if they already added them please just tell me how to use them on the app.

I agree, some of my friends faced the same issue with their daily matches : they were surprised that their opponents played conditional moves - they saw it as an immediate answer of their moves - quite amazing for them !

So in turn, I dare to say, that many chess.com members, who have joint chess.com via the app, are even not aware of all the functionalities that the "PC" site offers...!!

Anyway the app drawbacks are also on the communication side. You cannot receive club alerts via the app version, nor you can access even your own clubs!

I'd love to have conditional moves available on the app as well.

Sorry, I forget not everyone here uses American slang. Yes... I agree. I want conditional moves.

I am only playing chess from the iPhone app. Never use the PC. And I am not happy that I am paying the same membership rate but getting less functionality back. I am looking for alternatives.

I am being relevant and nice... your version 3 app is lousy and you have removed some functions, so i get less functions (analysis and conditional moves and ability to scope out opponents ) but i pay the same for gold membership. Oh yes and graphics are garish in your face too. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it ! I think you either needed the extra cash and it’s a squeeze to force members to upgrade to get back the functions or your balance sheet is poor and you need the cash. Where can i view your accounts? I think this is quite simply a dash for the cash but beware i see other discontented people. Soon you will have the rich members only to deal with but i guess your hired in experts figured all this out too and it’s a two fingered salute to us because we don’t pay you enough . Ami i being cynical ? possibly but post me the tax return link where i can view company accounts and salaries , if that doesn’t happen all us poorer foot soldiers know who is benefiting from new version, new squeeze on wallets. mmmmm...

I agree that the app version is much lighter than the web or PC version. Probably, for a part of it: that's life. You can do more on a PC than on a smartphone screen. But there are a couple of essential functionalities, that have apparently simply been omitted for the app. Main point for me is the messaging and posting, which is really rudimentary on the app. Most of the people in my club use mobile only and I have real difficulties to communicate with them.

Do you have a plan to upgrade the app??

I would also appreciate conditional moves in the iOS app.

Gee, if I'm not mistaken you used to be able to play conditional moves on the android version of the app, but that disappeared with the new version. Having that lack of ability kinda sucks.

I made suggestions before, they sorta just ignore them. They also have this one guy who pretends to be an admin answer all the questions for them. In this case he would say something like "Just use a pc, it's really easy, stop whining..."

Lol I just realized I started this forum 9 months ago, chess.com doesn't seem to be reacting yet....

If the answer is always, "use a pc" then why make the iOs and Android apps?  As a paying Chess.com customer, I use the apps because I have my phone handy to play when I want.  I don't always carry my pc.  I can always switch to another chess app if they don't want to support the mobile platform.

Just adding my voice to the feature request. Please add conditional moves to the app
