Default Candidate move option in Correspondence Chess

Many times while playing Correspondence Chess I've come across situations where I've not played a move thinking I could find a better one at a later time/next day only to lose the game on time because I was not able to come back to the game due to personal work (life in general).
It would be great to have an option for a default move, which will be played instead of forfeiting the game if I don't come back within the stipulated time. I could identify a move and set it up as default, but later if I'm able to come back to the game and analyze and come up with a better move, I could overwrite that.
This could be a game saving feature
