It's become clear to me that Chess.com now only cares about mobile users and doesn't give a rat's patoutie about desktop users. Shades of Microsoft...

This is Candy Cane with BREAKING NEWS from Chess.com. The thread, "Express if you like the new version" has at times been violent over the past 3 months. Today, mods we're called in to quell political commentary.
A number of members are trying to morph it into another thread by the same name with a "vote now" option. Still a 3rd faction started a "V2 vs. V3" thread. The action is firce and amazing, with no sign of Erik. The OP--venue, was chased down by a flock of reporters to ask for comment but she was last seen running into the ladies room crying.
The tension is high between V2 & V3 with both camps taking up arms. The thread with 2700 posts resembles a gigantic Jenga tower with everyone awaiting in breathless anticipation for who will provide the final insult to bring the entire thread CRASHING down on unsuspecting members.
