Why do you need to know how many millions are viewing your posts?
How do you see the number of views for your threads in V3?

Home-Profile. I think we tend to prefer what we're used to. We've already learned it. When I came in, v3 was new, and all that I used because I found v2 to be -- I don't know -- messy. In v3, using focus mode, it's as clean as can be.

Yes, the content is there, but unlike V2 it doesn't show how many views each thread has, which is my main complaint in this thread. And yes, it's also possible to find earlier content, but it's unecessarily inconvenient, as I noted in my original post. Basically, if I want to see the first thread I created from my home page, on V2 it takes 2 clicks (Manage all Content, Page 13), and on V3 it takes like 10 (show more, show more, show more, show more ...).

I will bet that they removed it as part of the troll control solution.
A minute of silence for the person who thought that this was a good idea.

I agree with you macer...I also like to be able to track how many views my content has received......

I'm not talking about thread count (which of course does not equal quality - quality equals quality, and nothing else does). I'm concerned about being able to see the number of views for each thread, a parameter that, when controlled for time, is a pretty good indicator of a thread's popularity in the time period observed. Unlike the number of posts in a thread, it is not easily inflated by the OP or a small number of other users posting multiple times.

Write less; read more. You can go home again:
I know you can go to your home page, and see your content there. But that's not what my concern is. My concerns are as they are specified in the original post.

'Chess is a matter of vanity". Alexander Alekhine
Yes, if someone wants to improve the skills on chess, it is all about vanity.
It is not surprise we get excited if our threads had thousands of views and posts.
It is human nature.
V3 is against human nature - failure is its destiny.

Exactly. who cares.

I agree that long lists of content, would be better with pagination, like the forums. Trying to find something on a profile of a player with a lot of content is harder now. For example, if I know that someone posted something a year ago, but don't remember enough about the subject that a Google search will turn it up, it may take a while to find it with the infinite scroll. With pagination, I can jump around until I get the right time frame and then page through to find it.
Or if I find a member with excellent content and I want to read the very first thing posted and work forward, it could take a while to finally reach that content.
I understand the desire for view counts too. I don't create very much original content, or trolling content even, but I can see that people that do would like to know what types of content may get the most views and which fall flat. Helps with future content creation. Comments can go a little ways towards that but isn't necessarily the best metric.
In V2 I can see that information easily by going to the "Manage all content" page on my profile (https://www.chess.com/members/view_content/macer75), but on V3 I can't seem to find the information anywhere. If it is currently not available in V3, I strongly insist that the staff make it available before the full release of V3.
Also, I have to say that I much prefer the formatting of the V2 content page. If I want to find one of my threads that I created a long time ago, on V2 I can immedately go to a page with earlier content (by clicking on one of the page numbers), while on V3 I would have to click on "show more" a number of times. Unless I'm missing something, and there is in fact an easier way to view my earlier content, the V3 system is extremely inconvenient.
