Do we really have to wait for April?
Idea for next April Fools

now that you've let the cat out of the bag, there's not much point in going ahead with it is there ?

that cat ain't in no bag, that's a suit from some vet. perhaps one drunken idiot?
GOT to be
that avatar you had since last April Fools huh.. that why you responded

So during this past April Fools, I noticed that chess.com did not do anything to commemorate this most delightful holiday. In the past, there has typically been a false news article or something else of the sort, so the lack of commemoration this year leads me to believe that chess.com has run out of ideas. But not to worry - I have come up with a GREAT idea that it can use on April 1, 2018, which is completely unlike anything that it (or any other organization, as far as I'm aware) has ever done in the past. So here it is...
On the next April Fools day, chess.com should revoke the memberships of all premium members.
Now wouldn't that be a perfect way to mark the occasion! Whereas a news article on the front page might not catch everyone's attention, premium members will certainly notice when their memberships are revoked, and their reaction will probably be strong enough such that most regular members would also be made aware of the joke. Thus, the entire chess.com community can share a good laugh, and praise chess.com's ingenuity (well, my ingenuity, really) for coming up with such a brilliant idea. Some regular members will no doubt want to become premium members, so that they can be in on such jokes in the future. The sheer creativity of the move might even cause it to attract the attention of media outlets, resulting in great publicity for chess.com. In short, it would be a win-win situation for everyboy.
So what do you say, chess.com staff? If I were you I would make this happen!
You and I commemorate it every day!

It was massively foolish to conjure up, manifest such a 'QUOTE, UNQUOTE' h o l i d a y such the CONcept " A P R I L F O O L S D A Y " in the 1st place !
p e r i o d

does any fall for April 1 pranks anymore ? just change the freaking date, choose a random day in April and at least you might have some element of surprise on your side.

here's a good one. Carlsen was a piece up today against the 28th ranked player in the world and lost.
