It sucks.. I had to disable that notification in app notification settings
Omg I thought I was the only one...I have same problem, please anyone help
I have this problem as well but it also makes me unable to queue for another live game. Solution I found was to force stop the game.

Same issue..did anyone find a solution without turning off notifications?
Everytime I click on the chess.com app on android, the live chess connection eventually turns up and it says " Live Chess Connection will automatically turn off after 30 seconds idle"
well, the app was clicked 836am, live chess connection is on, and it is already 8:46am, it is still on after idly reading the chess forums. is this a bug? I dont know but it slows down my galaxy tab s.
please help
