Personal game database

I would like to be able to maintain a database of my own games on Chess.com.

I play over the board about once a week. When the games are over 15 minutes, I write them down. Then when I get home I usually put them into Fritz, both to analyze and so as to keep them in case I ever want to look at them again. But this is not ideal, mainly because I use several different computers, and Fritz is only installed on one of them.

If I could store them on Chess.com instead, I would be able to access them whichever computer I use, and indeed wherever I go. Also it would make it esasier to post them for discussion here.

I think it would be pretty easy to provide this feature, and I think anyone who plays over the board as well as online would appreciate it.

Well a database of chess game can be just a .pgn file. A PGN file is really a textfile, to which you can just add new games by pasting the next one under the last game on the file (see below for an example of a pgn file with 4 games). This is an idea that you can use for now, before chess.com decides whether to add your feature or not.

You can add games to any post by clicking on the little chess board at the top of the "Post your reply" window.  You could create a Group of your own, and then post your games to various threads in the group forum by opening or whatever.

Thanks.

I have started a blog here and am posting my games to it.
