Private Diamond Forum

For those of us who paid for a Diamond membership, it is most likely we are serious about chess and using chess.com tools. With a private forum for Diamond members, it would weed out a lot of the clutter found in the general population.

A group would work just as well.

i find it hilarious that it's normally the diamond membership players who aren't titled are the ones with the lowest ratings.

they are probably the least serious about chess.

I've been here for 5 years now, with some gaps, and can say with a high degree of confidence that the forum-trashers are mostly paid members. There is an obvious reason to have expected this, which I'll leave to your fertile imaginations.

Martin's suggestion is simple and seems adequate. It can be like your own country club.

That's a take-charge attitude if ever I saw one. See a need and provide. The world needs more people like you.

Respond in a few weeks, I want to see the troll ratio.

The troll ratio will be 0, aka ZERO.  I wont tolerate it.  Im starting this group for people that want to have a place to discuss chess topics, without being trolled, spammed, and generally without the mentality of a 5 year old.  Anyone that joins, and actsl ike an idiot will be removed from the group.

They can then come here, and start a forum on how they were wronged.

There's already a forum for premium members.

Paying a bit of extra money doesn't make them to be dedicated about chess.

Being poor on purpose, doesn't make you any more humble.

Yes it will, but it will be a good group

I was going to comment on how you would be missing out on some serious chess players who might not have diamond memberships...but then I noticed you have a basic member in your midst. It's always wise to be flexible and make exceptions to a rule.

Anyone is welcome.  You just have to have some self control, and act like you arent 5, or beavis and butt-head, or a troll-a-holic.  While all of them are amusing, and entertaining, not knowing when to stop makes it old.

Then, I'm willing to join.
