I have no such issues.

Probably a problem with your system and/or connection.  It would be better to rule out those more likely possibilites before posting such scare/troll messages.

Bubatz

Don't know about anything else, but I can confirm the server being slow tonight.

Need to grab some pop corn. This one will be interesting ..

Will Bolivia deliver a final blow with a knife or US call it as act of piracy and sopafy it with mighty censorships?

Stay tuned !

i am making a serious post about issues on the site.

i do not mind friendly conflict on my posts.  i like it.  i enjoy the repartee of bright minds.

please do no take, as a community, any of my remarks as dark and personal ( except for those three i dropped into the seine last week with knives in their hearts )..as i try to enliven these dead forums with some conversation ( but east europeans who write script kitty things have to look out for me...i have a few dollars, a passport and a sharp knife...i will find you before interpol does ).

And I am siding with you, so I presume your comment is directed at mark? Anyways, chess.com - in my experience - has frequent problems (not TOO frequent, but still... ).

Also, you may have trouble getting that knife through customs.

This was a good, valid thread and not a "troll/scare" message. It's not a troll message because he wasn't asking questions just to hear himself talk and it's not a "scare" message because he's asking a good question that lots of us might have even if the idea of the site being attacked is "scary".

Now I doubt that some hacking team has decided to DDOS Chess.com. Frankly most hackers are nerds and most nerds like chess (or at least respect it).

The idea that maybe Chess.com doesn't have enough server capactiy at times is very valid though, and that's a good argument for them to have a page that shows the server status/statistics if they don't already (I haven't see one).

Next time the speed slows down gather the following information and post it:

(i) The time of the game and a link to it -- be sure to include your time zone

(ii) The type of connection you're on

(iii) The results of an upload and download speed test, which you should do immediately by going to www.google.com and typing in "speed test" (there are lots of such services and it should be free and instant)

(iv) The connection color of your opponent, so we can tell if they were lagging

Sorry to disappoint you sir (and perhaps the various popcorn vendors), but there won't be any direct response to any shallow irrelevant buttinski nation-centric comments ITT.
