There are programs that can play the best they can, but when you try to lower the bar, it's quite hard to emulate that level of play.

I'm fairly new to both chess and Chess.com, and have been playing the occasional game against the easy ("~1200") AI simply for practice when I don't have any other games going. But over the past few days I've had two games where the AI was suicidal, the most recent of the two making only one move that wasn't his king.
The first time wasn't quite this bad, but it was close. Any idea what's going on with it?
