I like it! It's human nature to oppose change, comfort zone is very comfortable but once you get used to it it's a big improvement. Visually and practically.
Of course there are still bugs and things to refine, that's why Chess.com staff is working hard. But I am very happy about the way they are doing it.

It's ok. The more I use it I think the old chess.com may just be better. It's hard to figure out where things are. I have no option to change the size of my board now. There are areas of the page where nothing shows up at all. Labels help also. Maybe some more contrast with a lot of stuff. It's hard to see. Seems to be running slower also.
After a few days with v.3, the menus begin to make sense. More sense than v.2!
The current problem: my devices keep reverting to version 2. I'm using 2 now on the iPad to post this message. The old chess.com is starting to become unfamiliar, leading to a disorientation similar to what I experienced when I dusted off my old XP box to use running a chess tournament.
I reverted back to the old one, I like my news section, article section, videos section, and blogs sections, clearly and neatly seperated on the front page.
The app style lay out on the new one, is just as bad as windows 8 is. I don't want app style layouts on a desktop or laptop. The screen is bigger for a reason.
Also downloads of players archived games doesn't seem to function.
The live chess changes are okay with me, although the resign or draw buttons are a bitt less user friendly (small, only a symbol) than the older version.
There are aspects to the newer version I like, such as it shows the opening that was used during the game. I using the older version now. Actually I use both, but I think I'm leaning towards the older version...
Can someone tell me how to get back to the new one please? It seems to have dissapeared
Snowycat, I'm on your wavelength. Kind of the way I feel.
I cannot get along with the new version after trying it for a while, although some of the new features are useful. Why can't they be incorporated in the old version and still have the layouts, links, colours, etc unchanged.
The old site is tied to old back-end code. Even if they decided to keep the design, it would need to be completely rewritten to take that into account and to update the code to make it easier to extend and modify in the future.

I'm not sure what you are seeing. My finished games are not showing on my home page and the Daily games have the completed games below and separate.
The games where it is my move are bright and the ones where it is my opponent's move are dark/shadowed.
Where is the endless quiz? Have they deleted it or something?

My browser has the option to override a site's settings for that. I can zoom on v3 with that feature on.
