Firstly, do you know how to construct a PGN file ?
Uploading PGNs to be added to your game history.
Sort:
Ill generally use a chess app on my ipod to replay through the game if i wrote down the moves, and then it will let me enter all the information and let me email it to myself. Thats the easiest way but PGNs arent too hard to handwrite. Or I could of course play through it in the analysis board and it will let me copy the pgn.

O/k that's much clearer now but I don't think there's much chance of being able to add a game to your history by downloading a PGN file to your archive !
There's the issue of a member's rating to start with even if the game/PGN file was entered as unrated - I think the staff would argue that your personal games archive is strictly for games played on chess.com (it's an issue of provenance-they couldn't be sure if it was a genuine game or made up).
The only way I can see of doing it is to challenge a friend on this site to a game & then replay your game move by move.
Of course you can still display diagrams of your external games by posting them on one of the games forums, if you know how to use the game creator (the checkered button above the posting/comment pane ?).
Then anybody can step through your game & comment if they want to or copy & paste it's PGN but as for doing computer analysis on imported games - good luck with that 
It would not affect ratings at all. All imported games could be clearly marked as such, and they only need to allow premium members to do it.
The point is to get all the great features and the diagrams just do not do it justice.

I agree...it would be great to be able to upload PGNs so that chess.com could be my hub repository for my chess life!
It would be great if I could take games played elsewhere or OTB and upload them, so I could get full use of out all the chess.com features. Computer analysis, and sharing the game with a permanent link, and storing my games for reference being the 3 that comes to mind as most useful. I play alot of variations OTB that I want to look more at later and get anaylized.
