Thank you, @robbie_1969

@Martin_Stahl and others would prefer to continue to obfuscate or gloss over the drawbacks and short-comings of V3 rather than acknowledge and pursue a course of correction.

I can't even remember v2 any more, it's that long ago.

Just trying to get clarity. You were replying at the time the original posts were made and @IMBacon didn't have any special icon, other than Diamond probably. Just seemed weird to get on a year later to chastise him based on a perceived loyalty to the man ... when that wasn't relevant at the time (if it ever would have been even had he happened to be staff at the time).

edit: there are changes happening all the time, fixing issues, adding features, etc. You may not agree with the direction, but the site is constantly improving, at least in my opinion, with some hiccups now and again.

So now there's a new great feature going 'round - mouse movements getting stuck mid-board.

I presume chess.com implemented some sort of mouse-tracking software package.  Now blitz/bullet players are dropping queens galore.  Great stuff, V3.  Great stuff.  /sarcasm

They tell me that v24 will be faster than a Texas twister.

V2 of chess.com had coding technology/constructs from the mid-2000s.

The problem was they were so simple, every browser in the world understood how to properly depict chess.com's v2 pages.  They were up before your average Aussie could even order a beer.  Now, v3 has widgets; multiple window-lets each with its own scroll bar enabled, and new-fangled javascript functions up the whazoo.  Your average Aussie could down a whole bud of beer before some of the pages finish loading.  (... as you can see, I even have plenty of time to RANT while waiting for v3.)

v2 just worked.  Had a few short-comings, things that could have been better.  But, bugs, sluggishness, .. there was none of that.
