Sigh, I was the only one who talked about less then 20 moves. I should have added my two eights together. I just could not believe it, because I thought that Carlsen was ready for the battle.

Texasboy, are you sure this is your original guess? If so, I will send you a taco trophy in a couple of days. You are the only one with the right guess. Good job.

bean_Fischer

It's surprisingly a short game. They are expected to fight to the end. But Anand cleverly forced a draw.

We don't know what Carlsen was up to with 1. Nf3. But Anand has worked out a perfect refutation.

It's such a short game. What a pity.

Anand didn't refute 1.Nf3 lol. Nf3 is a perfectly viable first move, played a lot by GMs.

Ziryab

Carlsen will win a game with 1.Nf3 before this match is over.

Are you gonna do this for game 2?

There is not much time to do game 2. Instead I will do it for game 3 thru the end. 4 games at a time so that there will be nough time to vote. Thanks for your suggestion.

You will get a trophy if Anand opening is 1. e4 and another one if it lasts 56 moves. In fact, the game will start in hours.

The players are probably enjoying their lunch about now.

I am enjoying my lunch. Hope Anand plays 1. e4 and Ruy and the game lasts longer tahn 40 moves. The 1st game was a let down, particularly on Carlsen part. Anand didn't do so bad. A draw is just for good both of them.
