I'm not greatly enamoured by armageddon either - but I admit I don't see another completely fair way to guarantee a finish in a set time!

I haven't been enjoying the commentary much but in these games they did better. I actually liked getting the computer's ideas. Ashley explained them well.

I'd like to see the replay of the post game interviews. The Saint Louis Chess Clubs site doesn't have those interviews showing up anywhere that I can find. Are they available somewhere else?

Never mind. I wasn't able to get it to rewind while they were live like I can during the super GM tournaments live coverage but it does replay now.

Typical Kamsky tournament champ interview:

"Well, today I was sure I was going to lose.  The weather was abysmal.  I had the sniffles.  There was a hole in my shoe.  I lost my wallet.  My scrambled eggs were runny.  My preparation was horrible.  My opponents outplayed me..."
