If you block any certain member, they are disabled to join any of your tournaments.
To be clear, you are saying that a TD is able to block a player from participating in their tournament before it begins?

Yes. If you block someone, it will also disable them from posting anywhere on your content, which includes notes, messages, forums, blogs, etc.
Thanks for responding. So apparently blocking is possible. I know that it is possible to block players from sending me messages or posting in my blogs using the privacy settings in my profile. But I don't want to use this method for blocking entry to my tournaments.
I would prefer instead to be able to evaluate and vet players once they register for my tournament and make a decision at that time as to whether I want to allow them to play in the tournament. In other words, to make the decision to admit them or not after they have submitted a registration request to join the tournament. Is this possible?
He is not wanting to block a user, just vet players in his events.
I thought a TD can can remove players but I'm not 100% sure, as I've never run one here.
It's not those that I have previously vetted and blocked (say using my privacy settings) that I am concerned about. It's those who register for my tournament and whom I have no prior knowledge of, and have not previously vetted or blocked. I want to be able to check the players as they register, to see for instance if they have a history of withdrawing from tournaments, timing out of their games - that sort of thing. I want to vet them as they register and admit only players that I feel are likely to complete the tournament, not delay the tournament, etc...
If I create a turn-based, multi-day, online tournament, as the TD do I have discretion to block/refuse any player's registration prior to the beginning of the tournament?
