Hi there!

I have scheduled a tournament today which starts in about a half an hour.
I Joined it with my mobile device, however I cant seem to find it on pc.

And a friend can't find it on pc or mobile.
When you search for on upcoming Swiss Tournamnets...you can't find it.

The name is:

Fairfield Chess Tournament

Swiss.
Standard.
min and max rating is default...I didnt change it. It is just "min" and 'Max"

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Wouldn't it only be visible to your 3 club members?

From within the club?

Not entirely sure...I cant even find my TD tools to invite?
Let alone I literally cant find the event on my pc...so I'm not sure how to manage it.

To see a created live club tournament, go to “play -> live chess” with a web browser and click on the tournaments tab.

I don’t know if live club tournaments are visible from the apps. Maybe they are.

Live tournaments require at least four players, for Swiss and arena.

So how does it become visible? If I get 4 people to join it already?

EDIT
I have found it on the pc using your method. I sent the link to the friend, but that didn't work. Are we not able to make the tournament public?

As @notmtwain said, the tournament will only be visible to your club members. They should see it once you create it.

Are you sure you actually invited your club to join? Maybe you made it invite-only and didn’t specify individual names. Once a tournament is created, you can’t edit it.

If less than four members join, then it will be canceled at its start time.

Alright, I'll pay a little more attention to that next one I create. However, how do you get a tournament to be listed in the Tournament section so anyone can join it?

I just tried the link you gave. I can see the tournament with a join button.

I don't think they want club tournaments to be seen globally. That could create a long list of upcoming tournaments which would crowd out the official ones.

Ahh so how would you go about creating an official tournament?

Official tournaments by definition are only created by chess.com.

If you create a daily tournament, that will be listed in the global tournament list unless it’s invite-only.

Haha sorry for all the questions...still learning!
For daily tournaments, are those move per day type games? Or you can actually set that up and it will run like a regular live tournament would?

You would get one or more days per move. They’re double round-robin knockout tournaments.
