Do Phone App users receive invitations to tournaments?

As the title asks: do users of the chess.com phone app receive tournament invitations when they are send by tournament directors?  If so, how/where do they show up?

Tourney invites go into messages and include a link to the tourney. That link will open the browser and they can log in there and join.

So the message in the app includes a link which pops open the browser, where they have to log in again?  Do I have that right?  It's not all handled within the app?

That is correct. It isn't completely handled within the app. Even going to the Tourney section of the app after an invite doesn't show anything.

There is one way to do it, without signing in again. After receiving the invite, they can go to the Tourney link in the app, click the messages icon there, look at the invite and click the Join this Tournament button there.
