Cute! Tell ya what...if you don't want to respond, you don't need to come up with some facile excuse for it. Just...don't.

Don't want to respond because I've grown tired of splitting hairs....by the time we get through counting the trees we don't see that its a forest anymore.

Woncha just take my word for it? lol

>Chess?  Sears?  Old Navy?  Public Parks?  Par 3 Golf Courses?  The rich basically say "Let them rot and die!".<

You know, it was a good, old-fashioned power-to-the-people rant until you brought in Old Navy. Then, sadly, your own mental imbalances went "presto! Here we are!"

maskedbishop

The rationale, oxycontin, is that his diatribe deftly segued into the absurd when he invoked "Old Navy" as an avatar of capitalist rapaciousness.

Is that more "fucking" discernible for you?

First off, it's "America",....

This is a money-driven country, and bribery runs rampant.  The top 1% control the country.  ....!

That is because humanity now resides in the belly of draconian ideology of unbridled capitalism instead of the other way around...Thanks to the Ayn Ran fan club.

Yes, I keep forgetting that the good people of Asia, Europe, and Africa are driven by love, poetry and music...not for them the dim appeal of filthy lucre.

God, you must be a blast at parties. Presuming, of course, that everyone isn't already giving you a wide berth...

So says the internet...did Chomsky really say that?

In any case, it would appear that you are always hanging round within earshot of what I've got to say...some party, huh?

You sure remind me of one of my ex-gf's bff....she couldn't stand me yet she jumped at every opportunity to see me...just so she could insult me.

KairavJoshi

Chess is not popular in the U.S. but that is gradually changing for the better.

what is wrong with not doing parties?

Loud, messy and a lot of drunk people. I would take a few friends camping any day of the week

If they are the same friends who are loud, messy, and drunk...by all means, the woods is a better place for all of you.

I keep forgetting that most chess players don't exactly have an adult social life, and "parties" to them are what they see on R-rated college comedies.

That's apropos, Baggy, because that's exactly who I am.

Chess is not as popular in the US as it is in Europe. That doesn't mean that it isn't as respected. Those are two totally different things.
