Finger slips!

I seem to be have a big problem with playing on the chess.com app on my phone.  I have now lost countless games because of finger slips ( like mouse slips but on a phone) and I don't really know what on earth is going on. Is it the app being slow? Is it a glitch? Are my fingers and thumbs too big? Is it something to do with the touch screen? I know that mouse/ finger slips can happen occasionally in online chess but I happens to me about once every 2 or 3 games. Does Someone have any advice on this?

Turn on move verification

On the app, go to Settings; then go to Live Chess; then tap on the "Confirm Move" option at the top (it should turn green)....then whenever you make a mask be, a sunscreen will pop up at the bottom, asking you if that's the move you want to make----touch the green check-mark for YRS, or the red "X" fir NO (whereupon it will let you choose another move)... this is a veritable lifesaver for one's games! It certainly has saved many of mine! 😃

Sorry for the typo----it should read, "whenever you make a move", NOT 'whenever a mask be"...

And "subscreen", not 'sunscrern"...

Depending on the cellphone you have, you may want to try adjusting the screen sensitivity.  There is a setting to increase the touch response based on the type of screen protector you have.
