Did you try to duplicate the exact same tourney settings that other current tournaments have as well as broaden your allowed rating range etc. ? Did you consider posting the announcement in these forums as well?
I'd be surprised that you really got no takers.
I just recentley started a tournament and I had to cancel it becuase no one joined. I invited people, posted on my groups homepages, but no one joined. Is there anything else I can do??
