Manhattan Open

So Im rated roughly 1200 and I've only been to scholastics tournaments that are free entry and no money just trophies. But the prize pool for this tournament has $800 for first place in the under 1300 and I was thinking of joining because I think I can win if I work hard enough in practice/training. But the entry fee is approximately $100  do you guys think its worth it. Also when I become 18 how can I join tournaments all of them seem to cost a lot of money to join

It depands on ur goal. Do you want to earn money or improve ur game?

I strongly recommend u to join if u r serious about improving and don't worry about money prize at all. At this level all u need is improvement!

"To be able to sacrifice what u have for what u will become"

After you perform a few lobotamies you will be able to afford the entry fee.

Unless of course you are still paying off medical school loans.
