You probably will, unless you request to play in a higher one. (Some tournaments let you) Posted ratings are the ones used, even if they are outdated.

So i used to play in tournaments all the time--three years ago. so my uscf membership expired and my rating was only 1180.now, i am 16, and i am getting back into chess. i renewed my membership and am going to enter a tournament. my question is, will i be put in a section for players uner 1200? even though its so old? thanks in advance. p.s. i am much higher than 1180 now.
