playing on Android and can't go to next round.

So I am playing in tournaments with my phone and I cannot seem to go past the first or second round because I get an alert saying live chess will close after thirty minutes of inactivity. since I have to wait for the next round, my phone is idle. When the live chess app stops, I get withdrawn from the tourney. Is there a way to get past this or is this a bug in the site?
