Oh poop! Well, the first of I'm sure many errors from me
The Candidates Tournament!
It's 15:19 here, and I'm supposed to be GMT+2.
But you Northern Hemisphere-Types have this thing about daylight saving, so those of us in the civlized world don't know what's what.
I'm still getting a live feed. Carlsen went to the board and picked up one of his rooks, looking at the bottom of it. Perhaps looking for a transmitter?
I wonder what types of steps they go through to prevent cheating. I'll bet they have electronic jammers there.

We're not in summertime, it's 13:22 GMT -0

Right, So I am GMT +2, then?
@rooperi: That's the culprit! Daylight savings time last Saturday where I live.
@naturalproduct: What a controversy that would be if one of the 8 players tried to cheat!
have you all llooked at the web casting sight? pretty good. They have done a lot with chess engine analysis and are displaying a lot of info.
The most attractive game for me will be the Aronian-Carlsen game. Number 1 against number 3 in the world. With such amazing chess players I'm sure it will be very difficult for me to understand the games without the help of Houdini, which is the engine used in broadcasting the games from Chessbomb. Houdini gives about four different variations per move there, with most variations going beyond ten moves deep, so one needs their own chess board to follow the various probable lines of play. Even then, for me at least, to follow the thinking of two 2800s is very difficult to grasp. Though when you do "get it" it is very self-gratifying

I saw that too. Interesting. However, who in the world is better than these guys, so as to give stats about how they are playing? I don't know, just something that I was thinking about...maybe they use engines to analyze?
can someone post link again please, if you are getting feed... ? thanks
