They are struggling to stop people from cheating when your opponent is sitting right in front of you, if they declare they have some fool proof anti cheat system, it will only attract people who see as beating the system as a challenge in itself. I also don't think your skill level playing blitz from the comfort of your home and playing using real pieces and hitting a clock are the same thing.

FIDE can't prevent cheating OTB, and look how many cheaters there are here, although the rating here doesn't mean anything in contrary to FIDE rating which can give you a title
