2000 rated opponent didn’t acknowledge my attack AT ALL?!
Yeah. I dont spend my life looking at a screen 24/7.
I don't know what slang youre talking about. I'm a kid so I know all the slang. No one says lol when something is actually funny. So I don't know why you and steph curry keep acting like the other person is a stand up comedian. I really can imagine you and steph sitting in your basement with a mad look on your face while typing lol just to ragebait the other. Also for what steph curry was talking about that the alapin is a dry opening for black, its obvious that bro knows nothing about any of the sharp lines black can play and just uses his friend as a final source of wisdom.
People don’t have to play c4 there though haha my mate has played that line with black plenty - at a decent level, most players play d4 instead. Also, no offence, even though I’m not a Sicilian player I may well know more about the opening than you considering our rating disparity.

First of all you knowing more about sicilian is cap. Second of all, give me a year and I'll be higher rated than you. Third of all, why is it so funny that youre "mate" plays this line all the time. I just dont understand the attraction about writing "hahaha". Also aren't you a famous basketball player. Shouldn't you be in the gym shooting threes right now instead of playing chess?

You may well be in a year. I’m an adult, I have responsibilities and a job; I envy you your freedom. But for now, you’re not. Is what it is.
Also, you appear unable to read names either. I am, unfortunately, better at chess than basketball.
Also no one is too old to be titled so idk what youre bio is going on about
The average age of achieving a title in chsss is around 21.5 I believe. Chess cognitive decline is widely understood to begin at around 35. You can definitely be too old to become titled.

maybe chess cognitive decline but that doesn't mean you can't grow in knowledge. Sure maybe calculation will become worse but your positional understanding and opening knowledge could carry you to next level.
To get back on topic, though, whatever we think of the Caro-kann, it’s a traditionally solid choice. Unless you mess up the fantasy or Tal you shouldn’t rlly be expecting to lose in less than 15moves.
Wow, didn't know that this 2000 elo player has an entire chess repertoire (the OP) while u can get to 2400 (rapid) with limited theory learnt lol.
Oh no! I spilled [removed] ! S**T! How many more free resources will I go on spilling? Whats happening to me?! My hardwork of years are going to waste ![]()

You’re absolutely right, 2000 isn’t an achievement that most amateur players dream of getting, and people below 2000 definitely shouldn’t learn opening theory to improve 🙄
It’s almost as if it’s much easier to play chess from positions you’re familiar with and from which you understand the associated plans. And it’s nice to not lose in the first ten moves or occasionally trap an opponent.
Damn, if only there was a way to reach familiar positions in chess that you understand consistently? But people below 2400 shouldn’t learn openings…

bro that is cap. Youre just being annoying at this point. what do you mean that people under 2400 shouldn't learn openings. Youre not even 2400. You should know better
