i always thought there was some sort of prize when you win a tournament here --- if none then what's the point just continue to play reg chess matches and apply those wins to your rankings -- since tournament play does not affect anything it seems -- why waste the energy then --- is there something i am missing ???? maybe a good reason to play

If you win you get all bragging rights and can over exaggerate it so long as it's technically true
