Hello! My name is Akshat Jain and I am offering private online chess lessons lessons via Zoom or Skype this summer!
I am a 17 year old National Chess Master (placing me in the top one percent of tournament chess players in the United States) currently living in Denver, CO. I have been a chess coach for the past few years, teaching at various camps around Colorado and providing private chess lessons to a variety of students. Some of the accomplishments I am most proud of include winning the K-12 Colorado State Scholastic Championship for the last three years in a row and qualifying to the Denker National Tournament of Champions, one of the most prestigious junior chess events in the country.
While working with students, I specialize in detecting their specific weaknesses and strengths. From this, I build a robust curriculum for my students, aiming at improving their areas of weaknesses and maximizing their strengths.
