My Dad taught me when i was 7 or 8. He had chess magazines from the 70s . I had some great times playing & learning with him, but most importantly, made some great memories. I haven't played for years, and I've forgotten so much, I'll practice first for a bit, hoping that some of the knowledge is still in there somewhere. Then ill play some games. Favorite quote: It's not what you know that will get you into trouble, it's what we're SURE we know, that just ain't so. (Or something close to that) Mark Twain.

Also, i would like to make some chess friends. Solid peeps please message me, I'm a little leary about strangers on the web, but i like to believe most people are decent, & hopefully I'll get some requests.
