When we sacrifice our darkness, we become whole. When we sacrifice our light, we become inhuman.

When we sacrifice our darkness, we become selfless. When we sacrifice our light, we are without selves.

When we sacrifice our darkness, we can see the Truth. When we sacrifice our light, we cannot see anything.

John 3:16

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Upon reading these sentences, I hereby force you to make a decision. Are you going to become a monster, without conscience or insight into why the world is the way it is? Or will you search for Truth, the truth that will help you look beyond your own desire, and make you whole again?

For those of you who love darkness, you're worse than a fool. You're more self-conceited than a bumbling moron. You know what I'm talking about. Don't pretend that there isn't a wrong or right; don't deceive yourself into thinking, "Morals don't exist". You're ruled by a government, which is in place to stop wrong and enforce right. You regard murder, adultery, and stealing as wrong, even though you won't admit it to even yourself.

For those of you who love light, you are near to the Truth. You have eyes that can see, ears that can hear, and a mind of discernment. Don't be worn down by darkness, even the darkness that feasts within you. Always be searching for the Truth, and you will find life.

The Truth About the World

Christianity is not religion. It is Truth. You may say, "I don't believe in God; God doesn't exist", but that does little more than move the air around your lips. If God said, "I don't believe in you, you do not exist", you, my fellow human, would cease to exist. He is perfect, and you are not. He is glorious, and you are not. He is good, and you are garbage. He is omnipotent, and there is no being like Him. He is omniscient and you are a fool. He is infinite, and you are but a speck of dust in the finite cosmos.

Yet as small, insignificant, and disgustingly garbage-like as you are, He loves you. What kind of love is this, and who could give it? He created the Earth, the heavens, and all the lights of the sky just for you, so you could steward it as His family. Who is this that rises up in the Creation around you to embrace you in a warmth and light that has existed from before the inception of this universe? You are His sons and daughters, and nothing will ever change that. Who is this that knows the value of each particle in your body and hears every shuddering, desperate wail that every soul has uttered since the dawn of the world, every grieving scream being whispered within the walls of every heart, and every song of torment and sorrow that will be wept ere the end of the universe? His name, my friend, is "I am Who I am". In the Hebrew language, it is said as Yahweh (Yah-way).

You were not an accident; you were conceived of Yahweh's mind and heart, and your status is "Human Being, Image Bearer of the Most High" (Genesis 1:26, Psalm 139:13-16). If you have eyes to see, open them. If you have ears to hear, listen. If you have a brain, use it. Why are you here? What is your purpose? What is it that you really desire deep down? Who is it that you actually long for? You have a hole in your heart that can't be filled with anything but Eternity; is Yahweh not infinite? Did He not place the DNA inside the first cells? Do the sky and wind not obey Him? Do you know the value of each particle that has ever been created? Were you there when the sons of Yahweh were shouting for joy at the beginning of Time and Creation? Or do you have the power to create a galaxy and place it amongst the others? And when was the last time you designed a creature from atoms up? If Yahweh can do these things, He can fill your heart's hole.

The main principles of Truth are these:

1. Yahweh is relationship (it is the essence of His being)

2. He wanted a family, so He created us

3. He gave us authority...

4. ...to steward His creation.

That's it. Pretty simple, isn't it? It's not what you were expecting, isn't it? You were expecting some complicated religious list of commandments because that's the way every other Christian in your life represented the Truth to you, isn't it? But it's just Relationship, Family, Authority, and Stewardship.

There's another important part of the story too, though. We failed to do our job, and we even pushed Yahweh away despite His love. We wanted to selfishly own and rule Creation instead of stewarding it, and rejected Yahweh's authority. This broke the peace and quiet of the world and brought into existence the chaos and disorder that we now see all over Creation. No, don't blame Yahweh for creating evil; He created beings who had the freewill and choice to instigate evil, or remain loyal to Him. Or are you too prideful to admit the many, many, many times that you chose to commit wrong? Perhaps denying the existence of your sin will save you from the Truth! Or have you taken into account infants who think their parent can't see them because they can't see the parent?

Numerous times Yahweh saw us try to save ourselves from evil, to revert back to the original humans we once were at the beginning of Time; but we failed each and every time. Imagine you're broken every law in your country and are going to be accused guilty; and numerous people offer to take your place. But they've all broken the same laws, too; their sacrifice doesn't mean anything. However, there's one person who hasn't broken any laws and he offers to take the sentence for you, and every other person who has broken the laws. This is where Jesus, the perfect Yahweh, Lord of Lords incarnate as human, comes in. He was perfect, and never did a thing wrong, yet he suffered the most brutal death of his time, a slow bleeding death by suffocation. Yahweh paid the penalty for all the things anyone has ever done against Him, just so we could be saved from the consequence of the evil we wrought upon ourselves.

I've explained everything. There's no more that you can't find out on your own. The real question is, how will you use what Yahweh has given you? How will you steward the gifts He gave you? Will you love back the Person who sacrificed His perfect glory and His life to save you from yourself? What to do if you're new in your faith in Yahweh

If you've made a commitment to follow Yahweh recently, then you might be looking for where to start. Contrary to popular belief, going to church is not a deciding factor in your spiritual life; don't listen to what other people are saying (even if they are pastors) without studying the Bible for yourself, which is the ultimate way to gain traction in your spiritual life. Your spiritual life consists of you and Yahweh, in one relationship together, walking together each day as you mature and grow alongside your Creator. Quite an amazing thing, to be intimate friends with the Creator of the Universe. No, what is going to boost your faith forward are these things:

-Study your Bible. This does not mean just reading a few verses a day and then going and forgetting what you read as you do something else. Really learn what's it's teaching you.

-Find a community of believers who are strong their faith and help you grow yours. This is where fellowship comes in; fellowship is the act of being with and supporting fellow believers. You can go to a church, where you can be around other Christians and observe them living their life. Keep in mind that real Christians' lives should not look like that of the world's.

-Don't be afraid to use resources to help you learn about Yahweh. Here's a few trustworthy resources that I would highly recommend:

https://www.biblegateway.com This is a free, online Bible with numerous translations and additional study resources. I would recommend the Amplified translation, and the New Living Translation. Enjoy!

https://bibleproject.com This is a free, non-profit website dedicated to sharing deep insights into the Bible, which hundreds of illustrative, informative, and well thought-out videos, designed to shed further light into the deeper truth that the Bible holds. Bible Project also has an online Bible, Bible studies, and classes, as well. I would recommend the "Who is God?" video, and the "Spiritual Beings" series, to start with.

-As a final point, remember these pieces of advice. Just because you're following Yahweh now, does not mean that everything will suddenly be easier. Remember that life is suffering, and even if things seem hopeless, you have to trust in Yahweh. It's hard, but believe me, I know from experience that trusting in Him is the best way to live your life. People will ridicule you, and hate you because you are a light in the darkness exposing them for who they are, simply by your decision to follow Yahweh, but you can rest in the protection of Yahweh when you face these trials.
