Here're the outcome from EL2010, and how the teams will be divided into divisions in EL2011.
Note! As you can see, there're some free spots in Division 2 to 4.
Which team should get this free spots?
BASICALLY:
* Division 4 and 5 will be merged into a qualification division, which not will play any games in EL2011. The best ranked teams will be promoted to EL2012 Division 3.
* For Division 2: One free spot. The best ranked team (on TM leader board) of Team Ukraine, Team Wales, Team Austria, and Team Lithuania, get the free spot.
* For Division 3: Two free spots. The two best ranked teams (on TM leader board) within the merged Division 4&5 get these free spots.
WHICH TEAM SHOULD GET THE FREE SPOT IN DIVISION 2 ?
Summary: Team Ukraine will be invited, due to be the best ranked on TM leaderboard. They must accept this before Sunday 23th of January, otherwise will the next best ranked team get the invitation instead.
WHICH TEAMS SHOULD GET THE FREE SPOTS IN DIVISION 3?
Summary: Team Greece and Chess Team Holland will be invited to Division 3.
They must accept this invitation before Sunday 23th of January, otherwise will the next best teams be invited instead. New teams that not have participated in the European League previous season will be invited to Division 4.
RESERVATION
In some countries there exists several country teams. The best ranked (on the Team Match Leaderboard) is to be invited to the European League 2011.
It means that some country teams that have represented their countries during European League might will be compared to and replaced by other country teams. This is to be conducted before Sunday 23th of January.
