it's hard to cooperate when single person take all management and decision. I'm sorry Johan, you doing your job really good with EL tourney and with Team Europe, but sometimes you need to split decisionmaking with others....
I agree with Johan & Adriano; then go back 2 my old offer - that`ll B amazing 2 have nearly same rules 4 EL & WL !
Johan you are the director, who has the right to decide everything for your tournament.
In Turkish we have a phrase, which is mostly used by some racists, and i hate it.
it says; "ya sev ya terket!"
translation would be something like;
"either Love or leave!"
let's obey.
@Omer_Hayyam: That phrase doesn't make any sense at all .. to me.. sincerely. 
Johan is doing a great job.. no doubt.. but this tourney is running on participation of many teams and it is natural and absolutely normal that the decisions are also taken with the participation of the admins and members of those teams, democratically. 
''Love or leave'' is a completly wrong attitude.. lol
guys I ve been on the EL for 2 years now and dont see any good reason for Johan to give up or split his decisions with someone else unless he has other more pressing matters to deal with and no more time to spare for this site. so stick to the rules and if you are not ok with those rules you may aswell create your own tnmt .

There is no need to leave the tournment for such reasons.... I think the ''obey'' attitude sounds funny to johan himself. Else.. we wouldn't be having this conversation at all.. right?
But since we are free to express our opinions here, these opinions must be taken in consideration or.. it's useless to express them.

i am sure we won't be able to add such a rule for the next season, because the TD doesn't trust it is necessary.
but no worries. we will obey.
just wanted to make the things more clear to all teams.
guys you can delete as many players as you want, but do not delete too much, otherwise you won't meet the minimum number of players requirement.
i hereby declare and promise to all competiting teams and my teammates, we as Team Turkey won't delete any player from our rosters, as soon as he/she doesn't have very high timeout possibility in that match. The only reason for that is we hate timeouts. People are here for playing chess, not to get some imaginary points from timeout wins.

We have problem with Team Macedonia - I tried to agree on date of locking rosters in our match http://www.chess.com/groups/team_match.html?id=115087, but without response. Then I locked our roster after a week (approximately) the day before yesterday and wrote team admin (trepkac) and superadmin (united_macedonia) if they could lock their roster, but again without response and without change.
Problem solved, match started.

I sent request to Team Malta in August, but Team Malta canceled it. I sent it again today
We also cannot do. Not so driven by results as to remove players & deny them playing. Too unfair on them & in our case are well-used to being outrated on many boards more often than not. Yet we still play...
Additionally glancing back in history at such manipulated & '' even '' team-matches the sheer quantity of a/c closures for cheating are disgraceful & makes a mockery of matching ratings in the first place ?
