you have history of doing this , i find out today you did issue a late lets outgrade picts post in your group as well , chess.com is a very small world isnt it ,

now with this knowledge you ask me to believe you ,

ANOK1, there has been no deliberate push on my part to outweight the matches. At the time, we only had 2 players (myself & sartresghost) registered.

We have small numbers in our team, so I did send out mass message to my team to join, at no time, looking to out-match the Picts. It was done with the view of filling up the roster, which I do for all my groups.

As I have said, this is done solely to get players to join and play, not looking at ratings per player.

I hope you accept my apology if you think otherwise as I would still be keen on playing more matches against the Picts.

we made them welcome offered fun in match notes , expecting at least respect in return and a bit of fun too if possible , but i cannot excuse them for the tricks

is winning so important ? to cheat the opposition of a fair match ?

especially as they could easily have found like grades

however it has come to my attention that this morning the admin for them posted for a late surge to outgrade us in their group

this after a long waiting period of a week to recruit for the match

draw your own conclusions i will only delete my posts if they are wrong

when we were kids playing chess, a trick used to be 'HEY!!! look over there!", and then swipe a bishop or a knight off the board when the guy isn't looking, or put one of your own captured pieces back on the board :D

Yes, I agree Anok, a brash display of deliberate out rating at last minute, it's the closest example one can get to "cheating" within the rules, not unlike sending a wolf to slay a kitten. Not to worry Picts, it's not the first time nor will it be the last where we have been the underdog and came out victorious....lets bring the thunder guys!

lycans your approach re this match in boards is disgusting to deliberatly hold out till the last few hrs then a late surge so you outgrade all boards ois underhanded and hardly the actions of fairness
