The term “rationalist” means many different things to many different people. This club is intended to based around the rationalist community first formed on LessWrong, and that has spread to communities such as:
The effective altruism community
The glowfic community
The Bayesian Conspiracy and Mind Killer podcasts, and their community.

This is intended to be a club for chess players in the rationalist community to help each other improve our chess skills and compete against other clubs here on chess.com.
