Hi Artur, it's not about the highest rating in the club - the winner is the one, who can improve their 13 Dec rating more than anyone else. For example with 3002 you have improved by 169 points (you had 2833) - great result! Will see what other members can achieve - I know some are working really hard right now :) The winner will get really nice trophey...

also about the coordinator thing it's a rank in the club. If you go on the member it will give you the option to promote me to coordinator or admin. Either would allow me to host tournaments anytiem:D

2023 Oceania Zone 3.6 Zonal Chess Championships was held in Melbourne from Monday 23rd to Saturday 28th January 2023. This prestigious FIDE World Championship qualifying competition was open to players from the Oceania Zone Federations (Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Island, Guam, Nauru, Fiji, Palau). 257 participants in men's draw!  It was really courageous for Tass to take part in this tournament. Great effort by everyone, who participated in AJCC in Melbourne last week. You gained an incredible experience, but also had fun and made new friends too   You all made stunning moves and achieved amazing wins...  one person even got 6.5 out of 8 and finished 2nd in her age group (U10) - Well done Emma and well done everyone!!
