GenSpace Chess Club

Welcome to our club!

My name is Wolf and I manage the GenSpace Chess Club, found inside the Wallis Annenberg GenSpace.

GenSpace is located in the heart of Los Angeles in Koreatown, one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the country. It’s on Level 3 of the stunning new Audrey Irmas Pavilion, designed by OMA. GenSpace is easily accessible by bus or the Metro D Line (formerly the Purple Line).

The GenSpace Chess Club is where older adults can safely meet to learn and play chess inside our beautiful GenSpace facility.

The GenSpace Chess Club meets in-person on Wednesdays, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. From beginners to Grand Masters – all are welcome!

Come join us to connect with fellow chess enthusiasts and make new friends! GenSpace also offers many other daily programs, activities and events for all its members. You get chess and so much more!

Chess Club Newcomers: Please call to make an appointment on Wednesdays between 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm to take a tour of GenSpace and to meet our friendly club members.
