Hi Fellow Chess Lovers,

Firstly, nice that you have an interest in reading my profile.

So, here goes...

Chess has been a passion since childhood, unfortunately and fortunately careers and other sports too had precedence. That is until the end 2022, where Chess became a topic and now one that I have decided to dedicate many hours, days, weeks, months and now years too.

The standard day works along the following lines...

5:30am Coffee, then the first round of puzzles -> Aimchess.com (brilliant for many reasons)
7:30am First round of 3 day games (played for learning / training purposes) Current topic is Najdorf
9:30 A good old hike to get some fresh air
11:00 Starting with the remainder of 3 day games
12:30 Next round of puzzles -> chess puzzle.net
13:30 First theory session of the day -> Chessable or Thechessworld (Both brilliant for their own reasons, only if Chessable videos were a little cheaper)
17:00 Second round of 3 day games (recently I tried the rated games and just found them tiresome with so many dubious / outstanding moves) that now I only play none rated.
20:00 Final round off, usually YouTube video on some famous game or opening.

Been doing this for some time now and its more a routine than chore and a lot of fun too.

So to the games, if we have played thanks for the lesson / opportunity to improve and I am sure it was fun.

The high percentage score within some of my games, means little as its the understanding them thats so important. Yes, they are mostly openings learned by heart. Its all in a process of trying to see which openings are best in giving the opportunities to play. Positional or dynamic? Still trying to find that out...

To conclude...

If you are like minded. Wish to follow a journey of improvement and are interested in training and sharing knowledge, perfect let's chat and play.

All the best to everyone, may you have as much fun and enjoyment simply playing chess.

Following a few weeks of tough sessions, another best of all time. Still, lots of opportunity to improve and see those all winning moves.

After one year I reached my main puzzle target, as a bonus...
