Greetings, everyone! I'm Johannes Haug, and I'm pleased to introduce myself. Currently, I hold a FIDE rating of 2467 and proudly hold the title of International Master. Over the years, I've accumulated extensive experience coaching individuals at all skill levels, ranging from beginners to experts. In recent times, I've had the privilege of working with some of Norway's most promising young players, witnessing their remarkable progress.

Additionally, I had the opportunity to serve as a full-time chess coach at Australia's largest chess institution, the Sydney Academy of Chess. During my tenure there, I had the pleasure of guiding young minds in achieving their chess aspirations while simultaneously enhancing their cognitive abilities.

 Some of my achievements are:

- Winner of the Nordic Youth Championship

- Winner of the Norwegian Youth Championship 3 times

- Winner of the Offerspill Invitational (rating performance: 2661)

My chess training approach revolves around tailoring the lessons to align with your individual requirements. This means addressing your areas of struggle and enhancing those aspects of your game. Additionally, I place a significant emphasis on ensuring that my students enjoy the learning process. When you find enjoyment in chess, you're more motivated to practice on your own and perform better in tournaments. Moreover, I make it a priority to remain accessible to my students.
